TODO Careers is a free platform that directly connects construction professionals — electricians, plumbers, carpenters and more — with contractors and clients looking to hire them, with no middlemen and no fees.
Is the app really free?
Yes. Both workers and contractors can download the app and use all core features completely free. No subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no commission on the jobs you close.
Which devices are supported?
TODO Careers is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Just tap the download button to install on your device.
How does the matching work?
Our smart matching system analyzes skills, location, availability and ratings to suggest the right professional for each job — fast and accurately.
Can I choose between being a worker or a contractor?
Yes. When you open the app you choose your role: Worker (offering services) or Contractor (hiring). You can manage your profile based on the chosen role.
How are professionals verified?
Profiles include identity documents, work history and ratings from real clients, ensuring trust and safety in every connection.
Are there any hidden fees on deals?
No. Negotiations happen directly between worker and contractor. TODO Careers does not take any commission.
How can I get support?

What trades and jobs does TODO Careers cover?
We cover all major construction and skilled-trade roles: electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, carpenters, framers, masons, painters, roofers, general laborers, helpers, and site supervisors. New categories are added as the platform grows.
What regions does TODO Careers serve?
We're live across the US East Coast and expanding nationally. Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida have the highest activity today, with Canada coming next.
Do I need experience or certifications to sign up?
No. You can sign up at any experience level. Some trades (electrician, plumber, HVAC) need a state license to land licensed work, but general labor, helper, and apprentice roles are open to everyone.
How long does it take to get my first job?
Most active workers receive their first response within 48 hours of completing their profile. The more complete your profile — skills, certifications, location, availability, photos — the faster you'll get hired.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We never sell your data. Your contact details stay private until you choose to share them with a contractor. All messages happen inside the app.
Can I use TODO Careers as a small contractor or company?
Yes. Solo contractors, small construction companies, and larger employers all use TODO Careers to post jobs, review verified profiles, and hire directly — at no cost.
